Recolight is a not-for-profit WEEE compliance scheme, set up by the lighting industry to support free collections and responsible recycling of lamps, luminaires.

Recolight offer tailored services for electrical wholesalers, including free recycling for lamps covered by the WEEE Regulations. Collection and recycling service for luminaires, batteries, and electrical items too. The online portal, RecoWeb, makes managing collections and compliance straightforward and efficient.

Beyond recycling, Recolight work with the lighting industry to help businesses take real steps toward a sustainable future. The Reuse Hub is a free-to-use digital platform that facilitates the reuse and remanufacture of lighting equipment, helping to keep products in use for longer and reduce environmental impact.

Recolight also hosts a programme of webinars covering topics such as forthcoming changes to WEEE regulations, remanufacturing, lifecycle assessments, and environmental product declarations. These are open to all and are designed to support better understanding and implementation of sustainable practices across the industry.

Circular Lighting Live, Recolight’s annual conference, brings together manufacturers, specifiers, and policymakers to discuss sustainability and net zero in lighting.
